Versis (Niagara) filters
Amafilter® Versis filters are the further development of the traditional Niagara filters – pressure filters for cake filtration with a large filtration area. The filters have double sided, stainless filter leaves installed on which the filter cake is built up. The solid filter leaves have five layers of wire mesh consisting of three coarse support meshes and two fine filter meshes in stainless steel.
The filters are supplied in either carbon steel or in a range of stainless materials.
Typical applications:
Animal fat, bleaching earth filtration, gelatine, glucose, nickel catalyst, pectin, process water, rapeseed oil, water glass etc.

Vertical pressure leaf filters Versis
Cricket filters
Amafilter® Cricket filters are pressure filters with stainless filter elements, which look like cricket bats (hence the name), on which a filter cloth is mounted. The filter cloths are available in several materials which make the Cricket filters suitable for basically all types of liquid filtration applications.
Typical applications:
Animal fat, gelatine, glucose, nickel catalyst, pectin, process water, water glass, vegetable oil etc.

- Cricket®filters for dry filter cake (filtration area up to 100 m2)
- Cricket®filters for wet filter cake (filtration area up to 250 m2)
- Complete fully automatic filtration systems

Cartridge filters
Amafilter® cartridge filters are most often used for verification filtration or for polishing of prefiltered liquids. But are also suitable as main filters for certain applications. As our filter cartridge product portfolio consists of approx. 4,000 types it is almost always possible to find an optimum solution for a given application.
The nominal selectivity ranges from 0.02 micron to 800 micron, so it is almost always possible to find an optimum solution for a given application.
The cartridge filter housings are available in carbon steel, stainless steel or plastic.

Bag filters
Amafilter® bag filters are most often used for verification filtration or for polishing of prefiltered liquids. As the filter bags can be delivered in many different dimensions and materials, they are suitable for various applications.
The applications are numerous, e.g ink/varnish/paint, chemicals, process water and vegetable oils.
The bag filter housings are available in carbon steel, stainless steel or plastic.
The filter bags can be delivered in many different dimensions and materials. Nominal selectivity between 0.5 – 800 micron.
The bag filters (without filter bags) can also be an economical alternative to large basket strainers.
