What is a Nutsche Filter Dryer (ANFD)?
An agitated Nutsche filter dryer (ANFD) from Bachiller makes it possible to perform both filtration and drying within a single, completely closed unit. The process starts with solid-liquid separation through filtration, after which the product can be washed and dried under vacuum or pressure — without opening the system. This type of equipment is particularly suitable for applications where vacuum filtration and controlled solid-liquid separation are critical process steps.
The built-in agitator enhances filtration speed, ensures uniform washing of the filter cake, and enables even and consistent drying. The result is a highly controlled, safe and efficient process — ideal for products that require purity, containment and gentle handling.
Bachiller offers a wide range of designs and sizes tailored to specific requirements — including materials such as stainless steel or Hastelloy, and configurations in accordance with ATEX or GMP standards.
